Current UniHouse inventory
The figures below describe UniHouse listings only. They are not a survey of every room or landlord in the Copperbelt.
What makes up the snapshot

How to use the price range
The listed rent does not always include electricity, water, internet or transport. Use the range as a starting point, then compare the full monthly cost for each room.
Method and limitations
- Source. The page reads accommodation records currently marked available in the UniHouse production listing database. It publishes aggregates and does not expose landlord contact details.
- Price used. We use the monthly price field when supplied and otherwise use the listing price. Zero, missing or invalid prices are excluded from price calculations but may remain in the availability count.
- Median. Prices are sorted from lowest to highest. The middle value is used; for an even number of priced listings, the two middle values are averaged.
- Coverage. This is an inventory snapshot, not a market-wide rent index. It can be influenced by a small number of listings and by which providers use UniHouse.
- Freshness. The inventory date is the most recent availability or listing update in the records. Students should confirm current price and availability directly before paying.
Questions about the method or an inaccurate listing can be sent through the contact page. Material method changes will be recorded here with an updated review date.
Turn the snapshot into a housing decision
1. Filter the live listings
Start with university area, room type and the rent you can sustain. Treat an availability label as something to confirm, not a guarantee.
2. Calculate total cost
Add transport and costs that are not included in rent. Compare the move-in amount as well as the normal monthly total.
3. Inspect and document
View the exact room, check utilities and security, read the agreement, verify who receives payment and keep the receipt.
